This Father and son duo, Tony and Rafael, have more than two decades of experience creating Italian dinner masterpieces. They worked together at Carlito's of Woodbury in Woodbury CT. Tony worked as the head chef and Rafael worked as manager and head waiter. They wanted to fulfill  their dream and take their passion to another level when they realized there was a need for a Northern Italian restaurant with their background, in New Milford, CT. They found a vacant restaurant in the heart of Downtown New Milford, right on the green. It was perfect! They gave the restaurant their finishing touches, building a bar and fully stocking it, detailing the high temp pizza oven to make the best wood-fired tasting pizzas, making the kitchen just the way they dreamed of and they even draped tables with white cloths giving it that authentic, elegant Italian feel. Needless to say, Al Dente was born. Guests get greeted with open arms to enjoy true Northern Italian cuisine.
